My procedure is to first play the music and have someone rate the sound level on a scale from one to 10, ten being the loudest, one being the most quiet. To test if the density effects how well sound is blocked, items will be placed in-front of the speakers to see if the sound is blocked or the sound isnt blocked

Sound Barriers!
This would be useful if you wanted something to block out sound or Music.
What Material Blocks sound The best?
Does density of material determine how well sound is block
More dense, thicker material will block sound BETTER

Variables;
Independent Variable: Sound Or Music
Dependent Variable: Material
Variables That Need To Be Controlled: Backround Noise
General Plan
My general plan is to place different materials in front of speakers playing music
Safety: Need ear protection from loud Music or sound, Disturbance of peace, Headaches
